We publish about salon operations because the software decisions that matter are almost always operational ones. A feature is only worth building if it removes a real question somebody has to answer at five o'clock on a Saturday.

In the meantime, the design thinking behind this piece is already reflected in the product — most directly in how we handle reconciliation, session lifecycles and reporting windows.
