Two apps went live on Google Play today. One is for the people who run a salon, the other for the people who book one, and they meet in the same diary.
SaloonERP, for the salon
The SaloonERP app is the front desk in your pocket, for whoever is standing on the floor between clients. It is not a second system: you sign in with the account you already use on the web and see the same bookings, bills, customers and stock, live.
- Today: who is waiting, who is in the chair, who is coming up, and what you have taken.
- The live floor and the diary, with arrivals, no-shows and tickets started from the queue.
- A quick bill with discounts, tips and split payments, and an invoice you can share as a PDF.
- Customers, reports, stock, memberships, rosters, leave and payroll, each shown only to the roles allowed to see them.
Search for SaloonERP on Google Play, or open the Google Play button on our app page. A salon that is not on SaloonERP yet creates its workspace on the web first; the app links there from its sign-in screen.
Saloonly, for the customer
Saloonly is where people find a salon, spa or barber nearby and book a time it really has free. It has been on the web at saloonly.shop; now it is an Android app as well.
- Salons nearby with real services and prices, opening hours and the team.
- Booking in a minute, with no account and nothing to pay online: customers pay at the salon.
- Notifications when the salon confirms, moves or cancels, and a reminder before the visit.
Where the two meet
A booking made in Saloonly lands in the salon’s SaloonERP diary next to phone bookings and walk-ins. With the SaloonERP app installed, the salon’s phones now get a notification the moment it arrives, and another if the customer cancels. Nobody has to keep refreshing a screen to know the afternoon has changed.
Updates without a store wait
Fixes and improvements to screens reach both apps over the air. They download in the background and are offered at a moment you choose, so a half-entered bill is never lost. Only changes to the app’s native parts need a new store release.
Your data, and leaving
The app adds nothing new to what we hold: it is the same account and the same records. If you ever want your account deleted, the app sends the request for you, and our account deletion page explains what is removed, what the salon keeps and how long it takes.
