The origin
It started with a bad Saturday
A three-chair salon in Kathmandu, a paper queue on the counter, a cash tin, and a notebook where memberships lived. On a busy Saturday the queue got out of order, two clients were promised the same stylist, and one walked out without paying because nobody was tracking the bill.
The close that night took forty minutes and still did not balance. Not because anyone stole anything — because there was no single place where money movements were recorded once and only once.
Every design decision in SaloonERP traces back to a version of that evening.
“A report that is roughly correct is worse than no report — it gets used.”
Our first written principle, and still the one we argue about most.
