Introducing Saloonly: where customers find your salon and book it

Saloonly is our marketplace for people looking for a salon nearby. Your listing comes from SaloonERP, and every booking lands straight in your diary.

In short

  • Saloonly lists your salon using the services, prices, team and hours you already keep.
  • Bookings from Saloonly arrive in the same diary as phone and walk-in bookings.
  • Listing is free; the commission is agreed with each salon and charged only on what Saloonly brings.

Most salons are good at the work and quiet about it. A customer new to the area searches, finds a map pin with a phone number, calls, gets no answer during a busy hour, and books somewhere else. The salon never knew it lost them.

Saloonly is our answer to that. It is a place for customers to find salons near them, see what they offer and what it costs, and book a time without a phone call. It lives at saloonly.shop, and apps for iPhone and Android are on the way.

What a customer sees

  • Salons near them, on a map or a list, with the kind of place each one is: hair, beauty, barber, spa, nails.
  • A salon page with real services and prices, opening hours, the team and where to find you.
  • Times that are actually free, worked out from your hours, your team and the bookings you already have.
  • A confirmation, and a booking they can find again, change or cancel.

Customers pay at the salon. Nobody has to hand over card details to an app to get a haircut, and you take payment the way you already do.

What the salon sees

Nothing new to learn, which is the point. Your Saloonly listing is not a second copy of your menu that someone has to keep up to date. It is drawn from what you keep in SaloonERP: change a price or switch a service off and the listing follows.

A booking made on Saloonly arrives in your diary next to the phone bookings and the walk-ins, marked as coming from Saloonly. Your team checks the customer in and finishes the visit exactly as they would any other.

How the money works

Being listed is free. When Saloonly brings you a customer, there is a commission on that booking. We do not publish one fixed rate, because a single-chair studio and a chain of twelve branches are not the same business. We agree a rate with each salon, and it only applies to what Saloonly brings. Your regulars who walk in or ring you as they always have are yours.

If you run a group of salons or want to talk about a partnership rather than a listing, that is a conversation we would like to have.

Why we built it

We have spent years building the back office: the till, the drawer, the stock, the payroll. All of it works better when the chairs are full. Saloonly is the front door, built on the same records, so a booking taken online is exactly as trustworthy as one taken at the desk.

“A salon should be easy to find, honest about its prices and possible to book at 11pm.”
