What a workspace in Saudi Arabia is set to before you touch it
Choose the country and the rest follows. None of these are typed in by you, and none of them are typed in by us either — they come from the same reference table the product uses to localise a live workspace.

Why it fits here
What this does for a salon in Saudi Arabia
Three things that are true of this market specifically, rather than three things that would be true of anywhere.
A Saturday week and a January year
Both carried from the country rather than assumed. Weekly reporting opens on the right day without anyone configuring it.
Ladies’ salons run as their own branches
Separate premises with their own address, phone, opening hours and staff list are the normal shape here, and that is exactly what a branch is in this product.
VAT at a rate per line
Standard-rated services and any zero-rated or exempt line coexist on one bill, and the tax report groups turnover by rate.

Where imported software breaks
What gets Saudi Arabia wrong
Every one of these is something a product built for somewhere else assumes, and every one of them is visible to your staff on the first day rather than to your accountant in month nine.
Arabic names, stored as written
Name fields are Unicode throughout. The interface is English; the data is whatever your staff type.
The week is not the European one
Saturday start, carried from the country table.
Invoices are a regulated document here
Not simply a receipt. That shapes what "issuing an invoice" has to mean, which is the subject of the limit below.

Zero-ratedSAR
Each line on a bill carries its own rate in basis points, so several rates on one ticket stay separable all the way to the report.

What it does not do here
The parts we are not going to pretend about
Nothing is illustrated in this section, because there is nothing here to sell. These are the reasons a salon in this market might be right to say no.
No ZATCA e-invoicing. This is disqualifying for many salons.
Saudi Arabia requires compliant electronic invoicing — structured invoices, cryptographic stamping, QR codes and integration with the authority’s platform for businesses in scope. This product does none of that. If your business is in scope, this software cannot be your invoicing system of record, and we would rather you learn that here than after buying it.
Tax you pay is not tracked, only tax you charge
Expenses record a gross amount and no rate, so the software cannot tell you your input tax. The report gives you output tax properly — turnover and tax by month, and turnover grouped by rate — and your accountant supplies the other half.
Reports run on dates, not on your financial year
The product knows when your year opens and shows it, but nothing defaults to it yet. You pick the dates. That is a small annoyance where the year opens on 1 January and a real one where it does not.
One workspace is one country
Country, currency and registration belong to the workspace, not the branch. A group trading either side of a border runs one workspace each side and consolidates outside the product.
Straight answers
Common questions about SaloonERP in Saudi Arabia
Every answer here is also marked up for search engines. They are the same words either way — describing the product one way to a reader and another way to a crawler is the oldest trick on this list and we are not doing it.
Does SaloonERP work for salons in Saudi Arabia?
Yes. Choosing Saudi Arabia as the country sets the workspace to Saudi Riyal (SAR) at 2 decimal places, names the sales tax "VAT" and the registration "VAT number", opens the week on Saturday and the financial year on 1 January. None of that is configuration you do yourself.
What tax does SaloonERP handle in Saudi Arabia?
Every service, product and bill line carries its own rate in basis points, so several rates can appear on one ticket and the report groups taxable turnover by the rate it was charged at — the shape a VAT return asks for. Your VAT number is stored once and prints on invoices. Tax you pay to suppliers is not tracked.
Do you have an office in Saudi Arabia?
No. Our two offices are in Nagpur and Kathmandu, and support for Saudi Arabia runs from Nagpur. We would rather say that than imply a local team.
Is SaloonERP compliant with Saudi Arabia's invoicing requirements?
No ZATCA e-invoicing. This is disqualifying for many salons. Saudi Arabia requires compliant electronic invoicing — structured invoices, cryptographic stamping, QR codes and integration with the authority’s platform for businesses in scope. This product does none of that. If your business is in scope, this software cannot be your invoicing system of record, and we would rather you learn that here than after buying it.
Can one SaloonERP account cover Saudi Arabia and another country?
No. Country, currency and tax registration belong to the workspace rather than the branch, so a group trading either side of a border runs one workspace each side. Within Saudi Arabia you can run as many branches as you like, each with its own address, phone, timezone and opening hours.
What does SaloonERP cost in Saudi Arabia?
List prices are published in Nepali rupees on our pricing page and start at Rs 2,500 a month, with a fourteen-day trial and no card required. Ask us for a quote in SAR and we will give you one.
Getting help
Supported from Nagpur
There is no desk in Saudi Arabia. Support runs from our office in Nagpur, on its hours, and we would rather tell you that than imply a local team.
Salons, spas, barbershops, beauty parlours and nail bars in Saudi Arabia all run the same way here — a chair, a queue, a bill and a till. Whatever it is called where you are, this is the same product.
