SaloonERP in Pakistan

The market that makes the strongest case for a rate per line: sales tax on services here is set by the province, not the country.

NTN—— set in settings

A bill with this market’s symbol, decimal places, tax wording and registration label. The rate shown is an example; the labels are not.

Why it fits here

What this does for a salon in Pakistan

Three things that are true of this market specifically, rather than three things that would be true of anywhere.

Provincial rates, without a special case

Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan each run their own revenue authority and their own rate on services. Because the rate lives on the line rather than on the company, a chain across two provinces sets a different rate per branch’s catalogue and the report still groups turnover by the rate charged.

NTN on the invoice

The registration field is labelled NTN, and prints once set. What it is called comes from the country rather than from a settings page you have to interpret.

A July financial year

Carried correctly. The year opens on 1 July, not on 1 January.

The week, as Pakistan opens it

Three different answers appear across the markets we serve — Sunday, Monday and Saturday — so the product stores the day rather than assuming it.

The financial year

Where imported software breaks

What gets Pakistan wrong

Every one of these is something a product built for somewhere else assumes, and every one of them is visible to your staff on the first day rather than to your accountant in month nine.

There is no single national rate to hardcode

This is exactly the assumption most salon software makes, and in Pakistan it is wrong from day one. Anything with one "tax rate" box in settings will need a workaround per branch.

The week opens on Sunday

And the weekend is Saturday and Sunday in most of the country, which is a third pattern again from the Gulf.

Small tickets, many of them

Whole-minor-unit arithmetic matters more, not less, when the average ticket is small and the day is long. No float ever touches an invoice total here.

Turnover by Sales tax rate

StandardPKR
ReducedPKR
Zero-ratedPKR

Each line on a bill carries its own rate in basis points, so several rates on one ticket stay separable all the way to the report.

What it does not do here

The parts we are not going to pretend about

Nothing is illustrated in this section, because there is nothing here to sell. These are the reasons a salon in this market might be right to say no.

No FBR or provincial authority integration

Several authorities operate real-time invoice reporting for registered service providers. This product does not transmit to any of them. If your salon is enrolled, you will be running that separately.

Tax you pay is not tracked, only tax you charge

Expenses record a gross amount and no rate, so the software cannot tell you your input tax. The report gives you output tax properly — turnover and tax by month, and turnover grouped by rate — and your accountant supplies the other half.

Reports run on dates, not on your financial year

The product knows when your year opens and shows it, but nothing defaults to it yet. You pick the dates. That is a small annoyance where the year opens on 1 January and a real one where it does not.

One workspace is one country

Country, currency and registration belong to the workspace, not the branch. A group trading either side of a border runs one workspace each side and consolidates outside the product.

Straight answers

Common questions about SaloonERP in Pakistan

Every answer here is also marked up for search engines. They are the same words either way — describing the product one way to a reader and another way to a crawler is the oldest trick on this list and we are not doing it.

Does SaloonERP work for salons in Pakistan?

Yes. Choosing Pakistan as the country sets the workspace to Pakistani Rupee (PKR) at 2 decimal places, names the sales tax "Sales tax" and the registration "NTN", opens the week on Sunday and the financial year on 1 July. None of that is configuration you do yourself.

What tax does SaloonERP handle in Pakistan?

Every service, product and bill line carries its own rate in basis points, so several rates can appear on one ticket and the report groups taxable turnover by the rate it was charged at — the shape a Sales tax return asks for. Your NTN is stored once and prints on invoices. Tax you pay to suppliers is not tracked.

Do you have an office in Pakistan?

No. Our two offices are in Nagpur and Kathmandu, and support for Pakistan runs from Nagpur. We would rather say that than imply a local team.

Is SaloonERP compliant with Pakistan's invoicing requirements?

No FBR or provincial authority integration. Several authorities operate real-time invoice reporting for registered service providers. This product does not transmit to any of them. If your salon is enrolled, you will be running that separately.

Can one SaloonERP account cover Pakistan and another country?

No. Country, currency and tax registration belong to the workspace rather than the branch, so a group trading either side of a border runs one workspace each side. Within Pakistan you can run as many branches as you like, each with its own address, phone, timezone and opening hours.

What does SaloonERP cost in Pakistan?

List prices are published in Nepali rupees on our pricing page and start at Rs 2,500 a month, with a fourteen-day trial and no card required. Ask us for a quote in PKR and we will give you one.

Salons, spas, barbershops, beauty parlours and nail bars in Pakistan all run the same way here — a chair, a queue, a bill and a till. Whatever it is called where you are, this is the same product.
